For Android users, canceling an order you’re meant to deliver as a driver is pretty straightforward. It can be done in 3 easy steps.

Step 1: Click on the “?” button

Firstly, open your DoorDash app, log in, and click on the “?” button. It should be located at the top right corner of the landing page after logging into the app.

Step 2: Tap on unassign this delivery

After clicking on the “?” button, your next move is to look for the “pick up” section. Under the picking up section, you should see a button tagged “unassign this delivery,” then click on it.

Step 3: Select a reason

After clicking on the “unassign this delivery” button, you will be taken to a page where various reasons are highlighted. Afterward, click on the reason that matches yours. Pretty easy, isn’t it?

For IOS users

For IOS users, canceling or unassigning yourself from an order is also pretty straightforward. It can be done in 5 simple steps.

Step 1: Click on the help button

After logging into the DoorDash app, click on the “help” button. This help button should be located at the top right corner of your dasher app.

Step 2: Unassign yourself from the order

After clicking on the help button, you should be taken to another page, there, click on “can’t do this order.”

Step 3: Select a reason

Just like an Android user, you will also need to select a reason. After clicking the can’t do order button, select a reason why you are unassigning yourself from the order that matches yours.

Step 4: Submit

After selecting your appropriate reason, click on submit request or submit, depending on the version of the app you currently have installed.
